Beauty Makes Me Cry

I can't recall right now all the things that have made me cry.
Well, the waterfall I saw in a surf video of a trip so some remote islands
There, with nobody to witness its wonder, flowing day and night, its astonishing works unnoticed...

I cry a lot when seeing beautiful places because I'll die without seeing too many of them in this lifetime
I should have traveled more but I like home so much.
My moon is in Cancer, you see. It explains all this.

After a dry period, I am crying easily again.
I cry from guilt, related to my dogs who are gone from the physical plane.
And I cry for the pain this world and its facts inflict upon me who knows those facts.

Recently a man I watch on youtube suggested writers to build a habit of writing without using the words I and Me. It would be wise of me to try.

My post is supposed to be short, and digressing is so easy. My presence here is to share this music that hit my ears on instagram today. A site I don't like but that often shows me wonders.
I went on youtube to find it and while listening, went to the comments and the one comment with the most likes sent me on a crying fit.

I'd recommend you read these words while listening to the music.
Press play, let the song get into you, slowly, then read the comment. Both below:

Mr. Wim Mertens, I don't know if you read your video comments on youtube, but I humbly pray that this gets to you somehow.

I am but a simple music appreciator with absolutely no knowledge of how to play ANY instrument. I first heard this musical piece, 'Often a Bird' in a documentary on the golden ratio and its omnipresence in nature. I was left speechless by the sublime gravity of the music. I was extremely fascinated by the music and visualization of that clip that I searched for a few months online for its authors (I have a bad habit of not remembering the titles of the programs that I watch). Today, I finally have your name and the name of your wonderful piece.

That not-so-ordinary evening, while watching and listening to that clip, I suddenly felt a spark of wonderment that I have forgotten long, long ago. It was like being a child again. Fascinated by how a bird can fly or how water can fall from the sky... It's a very precious and joyful feeling to experience the wonderment of a child, even for a few minutes. To me, that short clip with your music was very powerful because it allowed me to have realizations that can't be produced while being an obedient member of today's society. [this last sentence hits me hard and deeply]

Having said all of that... I just want to express my deepest thanks for being the creator of the instrument to my ( maybe spiritual and ) uplifting experience of simply recalling childhood 'wonderment...' Brief as it was.

Thank you... thank you.
Humbly and sincerely,
Isabela Razo, a new fan from the Philippines
